Funding opportunitiesOur goal is to support, mentor and train the next generation of materials scientists, as well as promote highly innovative interdisciplinary research projects. We offer financial support to researchers and postgraduate students through the University's Interdisciplinary Seed Funding scheme as well as three PhD scholarship programs: the CSIRO-MMI Materials Science PhD Scholarship, the Interdisciplinary PhD Scholarship and the Inaugural UoM-IBM PhD Scholarship. Platform development pilot programThis pilot program will establish a framework for the support of research infrastructure in order to deliver improved research capabilities and outcomes. The program will provide a technical support officer for each of the selected platforms.
